Types of Wedding Appointments

  • Wedding Consultation

    Approx. 1 Hour

    Your first appointment with us, tell us about your wedding and what you'd like to wear. Maximum 3 people to attend.

  • Measurements

    15 Minutes Per Person

    To be booked by members of your wedding party to have their sizes taken for their suits. If they'd like to all come together please include this in your request.

  • Fittings

    Approx. 1 Hour

    Organised directly with your personal tailor for your full party. Your suits will be tried and fitted to check for any necessary alterations.

  • Suit Hire

    15-30 Minutes Per Person

    To hire for events like black or white tie, highland kilt hire, morning dress or Masonic wear. Hiring for a wedding but NOT in the immediate wedding party? Please book this appointment.

  • Bespoke Made to Measure

    Approx. 1-2 Hours

    For fully bespoke orders only. If you'd like a bespoke suit for your wedding, please book a wedding consultation.

  • ETCH: Made to Order

    Approx. 1-2 Hours

    For custom-made orders only. If you'd like a made-to-order a suit for your wedding, please book a wedding consultation.

Wedding Appointment FAQs

When should I book a consultation?

Where possible, 6-9 months prior to your wedding. You will be assigned a tailor who will take care of you throughout the whole process. If you have less time to prepare, that shouldn't be a problem. However, get in touch to make sure we can make it work for you if you don't have very long!

What happens at a wedding consultation?

At your appointment, we will confirm your preferences, the date and location of your wedding and look at some initial styles you like.

Bringing with you any images for inspiration or a Pinterest board of ideas is a great help! We will take some notes and your professional measurements.

Who should I bring to my initial consultation?

Your initial appointment would be for yourself, plus up to two guests of your choice. Most customers opt to bring their fiance, parent, sibling or best man, for example.

IMPORTANT: You do not need to bring your full wedding party to the first consultation. A further appointment will be arranged for measurements and fittings by your tailor.

When will my party be measured and fitted?

We will organise a measurements appointment for the rest of your groomsmen and wedding party to attend that suits you. This takes approximately 15 minutes per person. 

We can also, on certain occasions, book a video meeting for any of the party that don't live in the country or are unable to travel to the North East.
